Rustins Quick Dry Wood Dye is a low-odour, water-based dye to transform the colour of wood.
Ideal for floors, doors, skirting boards, staircase, cupboards, wardrobes, tables, chairs, worktops and picture frames, the dye is touch dry within 20 minutes and can be over-coated after two hours. It is also fade-resistant and will enhance the natural grain of wood.
Rustins Quick Dry Wood Dye is suitable for interior and exterior use. It is non-fading and non-bleeding.
During preparation, the wood must be clean, dry and free of wax, previous coatings and contaminants. Apply evenly using a rag or brush and wipe off any excess.
A single coat is usually sufficient, but two will be better for a lighter/whiter shade. Touch dry within 30 minutes under normal conditions. Re-coating can take place after two hours under normal conditions- ideally 15-25°C.
Coverage is up to 12 sq. m per litre, per coat, depending on the absorbency of the wood.
Rustins Quick Dry Wood Dye (Water Based) is sold in 2.5L containers.
