Rustins Timberlife is a quick-drying, high-quality acrylic decorative finish containing fungicides that protect and add life to garden timber.
Attractive wood shades are achieved with special pigments, which resist UV light and fading. Ideal for new or weathered sheds, fences, decking, gates and other garden furniture. Highly water repellent and resistant to fading.
Protects timber for up to five years. Low odour and water repellent once dry. Harmless to pets and plants. Resistant to fading. Greater coverage than creosote.
During preparation, existing paint and varnish should be removed with Rustins Strypit Paint & Varnish Stripper. Remove lichens, algae and moss with a brush, scraper and domestic bleach, then rinse thoroughly and allow to dry.
Apply with a synthetic fibre brush, using the largest practicable for the job. Clean splashes while damp with water.
Two coats recommended, but the colour will deepen as more applications are made. Touch dry within 30 minutes, depending on temperature, humidity and absorbency of the wood. Possible to re-coat within two hours. Do not apply below 10°C, or if rain expected.
Coverage is 6-12 sq.m per litre, per coat, depending on the absorbency of the wood.

Compatibility: Timberlife can be over-coated with the Rustins paints and varnishes. Timberlife can be applied over other fence and shed treatments and weathered creosote.
Settlement: STIR WELL BEFORE USE.
Shelf-life/Storage: Many years if stored in original, tightly closed container in normal conditions. Do not store below 5°C. Protect from Frost.
Hazards: Non-flammable. Flashpoint Nil. May be harmful if swallowed. Avoid contact with eyes and skin. Splashes to eyes and skin should be rinsed with plenty of clean water. Keep out of reach of children. A full Safety Data Sheet is available upon request or at www.rustins.co.uk
Clean-Up: With water whilst still wet. If dried-on, clean brushes with Rustins Brush Restorer.
