Rustins Quick Dry Satin Black produces a smooth satin finish on wood and metal, making it suitable for interior and exterior use.
Ideal for bare wood, hardboard, MDF, plaster, brickwork, cement and wrought iron. Can be used over existing wood, metal primers and paints.
During preparation, surfaces to be coated must be clean, dry and free from wax, grease and contaminants. Apply liberally and evenly with synthetic fibre brush or roller.
Between one and two coats, as required, is recommended. Touch dry within 30 minutes, depending upon temperature and humidity. Re-coat after a minimum of two hours. Do not use below 10°C or in conditions of high humidity.
Coverage is approximately 12-14 sq. metres per litre, 1 coat, depending on the absorbency of the surface.

Product: Quick Drying Satin Black
Type: A dense black paint based on water borne self cross-linking acrylic resin.
Intended Use: For all interior and exterior bare wood, hardboard, MDF, plaster, brickwork, cement and wrought iron. Can be used over existing wood and metal primers and over existing paints.
Special Features: Quick drying. Excellent covering power. Low VOC. Clean brushes with water. Contains special matting agents so that paint dries with satin finish.
Preparation: Surfaces to be coated must be clean, dry and free from wax, grease and contaminants. Fill holes and cracks with Rustin's Wood Filler. Over existing paint, the surface must be cleaned and lightly sanded to provide a key before application
Application: STIR WELL BEFORE USE. Apply liberally and evenly with synthetic fibre brush or roller.
Coats: 1 or 2 coats as required.
Drying Time: Touch dry within 30 minutes, depending upon temperature and humidity.
Re-coating Time: 2 hours minimum, depending upon temperature and humidity
Application Temp: Ideally, 15-25°C. Do not use below 10°C or in conditions of high humidity

Maintenance: Clean painted surfaces with a mild detergent solution.
Compatibility: May be applied over old existing coating provided these are in good condition and rubbed down to provide a key. May be applied over solvent and acrylic paint
Settlement: STIR WELL BEFORE USE. Ensure any sediment is thoroughly mixed in.
Shelf-life/Storage: Many years if stored in original tightly closed container in normal conditions. Do not store below 5°C. Protect from frost.
Hazards: Non-flammable. Avoid contact with eyes and skin. In case of contact with eyes, rinse immediately with plenty of water and seek medical attention. After contact with skin, wash immediately with plenty of soap and water or a proprietary skin cleanser. Keep out of reach of children. Clean-Up: Clean brushes and hands immediately after use with water. If dried on, clean equipment and brushes with Rustin's Brush Restorer.
