Meon ProTack thermoplastic Tackcoat aerosol primer is a clear spray you use when applying thermoplastic markings onto bituminous and non-bituminous substrates. ProTack is designed for use on a variety of substrates including concrete, asphalt, and metal, and you can use it for marking warehouses, car parks, roads, facilities, and more.

ProTack leaves a clear tack for improved adhesion of thermoplastic to the surface. It is fast drying to enable rapid application of thermoplastic, and it is ready to use straight from the can. Shake the can well before use, and apply as an ordinary aerosol, allowing 10-15 minutes of drtign time. On porous substrates, continue applying the primer until saturation occurs to achieve a thin continuous resin film. Once dry, you can apply thermoplastic markings. If the surface is particularly porous, you might need 2 applications. The substrate temperature should be between 0°C - 40°C. Do not apply when surface temperature is above 40°C or rapidly rising. Substrate must be at least 3°C higher than the dew point.
