Flag Shellac Sanding Sealer is made from a blend of shellacs and zinc stearate that make it ideal for sealing new or stripped wood prior to waxing and French polishing.
Manufactured in the UK by FLAG, this gloss finish shellac works best if the wood is sanded down before application to ensure a perfect finish.
Before application, the surface should be stable, firm, dry and free of dust, sand, loose old paint, dirt, grease and oil.
Touch dry in five to 10 minutes, depending on conditions (ideally 20°C). Over-coating can take place after 15 minutes.
Theoretical spreading rate is 18 sq. metres per litre.
