Low cost clear floor coating for preventing dust

Coo-Var Floor Sealer is a clear floor coating to help with the prevention of dusting. Coo-Var Floor Sealer is ideal where a low cost sealer for is required. Interior and Exterior. Can be used on suitably prepared concrete, wood, metal and GRP.

Application: Roller or brush

Drying time: Touch Dry 4 hours or 12 hours hard dry

Overcoat time: 16 hours or overnight

Estimated Coverage: 10-12m² per litre

Surface Preparation

All surfaces should be clean, dry, sound and free from contaminants. Concrete - power floated, granolithic and smooth surfaces should be roughened first to provide a good "key" for the paint. This can be done mechanically by abrading or blasting, or chemically, using Coo-Var Acid Etch. These processes will have the advantage in addition to preparing the surface of also removing dirt and laitance. New concrete must be allowed to cure thoroughly which can take up to 3 months.

Application Conditions

As dictated by normal good painting practice. In confined spaces, provide adequate ventilation during application and drying.

Preceding Coat

10% thinned Coo-Var Floor Sealer

Subsequent Coat

Coo-Var Floor Paint if required.
